Gifted kids do not fit with the majority of their classmates. They are different, they think differently and different can be difficult. Intelligence is not something that is rewarded in society until adulthood. Children who are further up on the scale are even more different, enough so, that there has been an optimal intelligence listed that is in the lower levels of gifted.

These are some links that parents can use to help themselves and their children. All things gifted and a great place to start. This free site is run by a mother of a two profoundly gifted (PG) kids. Supported by purchases linked through the site.

The PROCLAMATION CEREMONY for Gifted Education Month, (February 2018) will be held at the Capitol Rotunda on Wednesday, January 31, 2018. More details will be available soon with information about attending the Proclamation Ceremony and other activities your students can do that day.
