Gifted Education Links

Gifted kids do not fit in with the majority of their classmates.  They are different, they think differently and different can be difficult.  Intellegence is not something that is rewarded in society until adulthood.  Children who are further up on the scale are even more different,  enough so, that there has even been an optimal intelligence listed that is in the lower levels of gifted.

These are some links that parents can use to help themselves and their children.

All things gifted and a great place to start.  This free site is run by a mother of a two profoundly gifted (PG) kids.  Supported by purchases linked though the site.

Summer camps can be a way to meet other children of like mind and lessen the isolation that is sometimes felt.  Some are listed here, many are not and, of course, I cannot promise YOUR child will enjoy any of them.
